The Exchange Gallery, run by a committee of volunteers, provides a venue for regional artists of all ages and levels of experience to display work in themed, open-call exhibitions and juried or invitational shows. Frequent receptions coincide with other art events in downtown Bloomsburg.
takes place annually over three days in February. You can join thousands of attendees from near and far at almost 20 venues in Columbia and Montour Counties, enjoying dozens of national, regional, and local Blues performers. The venues range from intimate pubs to the jaw-droppingly beautiful Auditorium in Bloomsburg's landmark Masonic cathedral and the sanctuary of the largest church in the downtown.
The Backstage Pass to the Blues program brings world-class Blues musicians into schools in our region, teaching the history of the art form.
The Art Cart visit venues throughout our area, from childcare centers to nursing homes, with projects in many media including painting and drawing, cut-out paper, and sculpture. Our facilitators tailor projects to groups of all sizes and ages, bringing the beauty out in each person. The Exchange provides the Art Cart for free, thanks to our generous grant funders and support from generous people just like you!

ArtFest takes place at the end of every August on the Square in downtown Bloomsburg, featuring work by more than 30 regional artists and craftspeople as well as regional musicians, food trucks, and activities for children
WHAT WE DO
The Exchange also collaborates with organizations including Downtown Bloomsburg Inc., AGAPE, the Children's Museum, the Bloomsburg Area YMCA, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and many others to produce an annual Halloween celebration ("BOO!burg"), coordinate Bloomsburg's Main Street Halloween window-painting, and put on many other community-based events.
