The Exchange Gallery, run by a committee of volunteers, provides a venue for regional artists of all ages and levels of experience to display work in themed, open-call exhibitions and juried or invitational shows. Our receptions coincide with other art events in downtown Bloomsburg.

The Listening Room takes place monthly in the Exchange Gallery with national, regional, and local Blues, Roots, and Americana performers. In our intimate venue, you will have a musical experience unlike any other in our region.

The Backstage Pass to the Blues program brings world-class Blues musicians into schools in four counties, teaching the history of America's homegrown art form.

The Art Cart visit venues throughout our area, from childcare centers to nursing homes, with projects in many media including painting and drawing, cut-out paper, and sculpture. Our facilitators tailor projects to groups of all sizes and ages, bringing the beauty out in each person.
The Exchange provides the Art Cart for free, thanks to our generous grant funders and support from generous people just like you!

ArtFest takes place every August on the Square in downtown Bloomsburg, featuring more than fifty regional vendors: artists and craftspeople as well food trucks and other non-profit organizations providing activities for adults and children. In 2021, it takes place on Saturday, August 21st, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The largest one-day arts event in Bloomsburg also features some of your favorite regional musicians all day long.

ArtOfPA serves as an arts and culture resource for the communities of Bloomsburg, Berwick, Danville, and other places throughout central Pennsylvania. Other Projects: The Exchange also collaborates with organizations including AGAPE, the Children's Museum, the Bloomsburg Area YMCA, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, and many others to produce an annual Halloween celebration ("BOO!burg"). We coordinate Bloomsburg's Main Street Halloween window-painting -- a half-century tradition -- and and we work with these and many other partners to put on other community-based events.
